Meet Evelyn Summerville

As an African-American woman who rose from entry-level to Director in a Fortune 500 Company and a leader with over 25 years of experience guiding teams to success, Evelyn supports executives, leaders and teams to live and lead with excellence in times of adversity and change.   

On the corporate front, Evelyn’s experience spans from facilitating cross-functional quality improvement teams to managing workgroups, projects and department budgets up to $2.2 million. A visionary and change-agent, Evelyn elevated her team of corporate librarians into a high-performing marketing research and analysis organization supporting executive decision-makers worldwide.   

Since 2015, Evelyn has coached individuals and teams to break old paradigms and define their authentic way forward. She is best known for helping clients honor their purpose, values, strengths and priorities daily. Her expertise includes clarifying vision, mission and values, having courageous conversations, navigating transitions, leading with influence, making sound decisions and improving time management.   

Recognized as a keen administrator, an inspiring speaker and one who easily mobilizes others around a common vision, Evelyn has been elected to several community leadership positions within the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters International District 28. Additionally, she is a contributing writer for Career Mastered Magazine.
